The Advocate

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 14, 15 – 31:

Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always, the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot accept, because it neither sees nor knows it. But you know it, because it remains with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me, because I live and you will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father and you are in me and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and observe them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.” Judas, not the Iscariot, said to him, “Master, then what happened that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Whoever loves me will keep my words, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; yet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me.”
“I have told you this while I am with you. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name–he will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you. Peace I leave you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. You heard me tell you, ‘I am going away and I will come back to you.’ If you love me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater than I. And now I have told you this before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe. I will no longer speak much with you, for the ruler of the world is coming. He has no power over me, but the world must know that I love the Father and that I do just as the Father has commanded me. Get up, let us go.”

Tomorrow I will go back to New Brunswick and I hope to get more good news. I pray that this traveling will soon be over and that the money will arrive to build what Jesus has asked me and what Our Blessed Mother has asked. Please keep praying for this great outcome.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to remain attentive to the teaching of the Gospel today. I was speaking to the Apostles during the Last Supper telling that if they love Me, they will keep My commandments. I told them that I would ask the Father to send another Advocate, the Spirit of truth, to be with you always. The Spirit will live in you and will not leave you. I told them that I was going but I will not leave them orphans. The Father will send you the Holy Spirit in My name and He will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you. Soon after I said this, I told them that I will leave very soon and the Holy Spirit will soon come. Then we got up and left.
My friends, I had to leave so that the Holy Spirit could come upon you. You know the great day of the coming of the Holy Spirit was Pentecost, when all the Apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and Saint Peter went out and began to preach. That day 3,000 people were baptized and entered the church. The New Era began on the day of the Holy Spirit. I bless you all.”

Last Supper Discourses

Last Supper Discourses

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 14, 1 – 14:

Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself. so that where I am you also may be. Where I am going you know the way.” Thomas said to him, “Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, then you will know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him.” Philip said to him, “Master, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I speak to you I do not on my own. The Father who dwells in me is doing his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else, believe because of the works themselves. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.”

We had a nice sunny day on Sunday but it was windy and cool. I had a visit from a person from New York City who has now moved to Prince Edward Island. He lives only a few kilometers from where I live. He is one who has great faith.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to believe that I am the Son of the Father and all I do is according to the Will of My heavenly Father. I taught the Apostles at the Last Supper that I was returning to the Father to prepare a place for My Apostles and all you who follow Me. I will come again to take you to your heavenly home. I told the Apostles that I am the way and the truth and the life. If you follow the way I showed you, then you will be saved. I have taught only the truth. I never teach what is false. I am the one who gives you life especially eternal life when you enter heaven. I also told them that when they see Me, they also see the Father. I am in the Father and the Father is in Me. Whatever you ask the Father in My name, you will receive for I am there to help you.
My dear brothers and sisters, I call you all to believe in Me as I am the only Savior you have in this world. There is nobody else who can help you to get to heaven. In all your difficulties and troubles come to Me and I will help you. I have all power and I will use it to help you when you ask for My help. I love you all.”

Peter’s Denial Predicted

Peter’s Denial Predicted

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 13, 36 – 38:

Simon Peter said to Jesus, “Master, where are you going?” Jesus answered him, “Where I am going, you cannot follow me now, though you will follow later.” Peter said to him, “Master, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.” Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? Amen, amen, I say to you, the cock will not crow before you deny me three times.”

Yesterday, Saturday, was the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Mother of God. First She is Immaculate because She never sinned when She was on earth. She was also preserved from original sin. This feast shows how much love does Our Blessed Mother have for us all, Her children. She was chosen by God the Father to give birth to Our Lord and Savior and She took care of Her Son Jesus from the moment of His birth. Saint Joseph, Her spouse, was already there to help Her and to take care of Jesus. He never had any sexual relations with Our Blessed Mother and so She is a virgin as She is called: the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Remember you are all sinners, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who follow Me every day. At the Last Supper when I told the Apostles that I was going away but they will not be able to come with Me but they will follow later.
I was talking to them about My death which was very near. It was the next day, Good Friday, when I died on the cross. Peter wanted to come with Me right away and he said that he was ready to lay down his life for Me. He sounded somewhat proud when he said that he would die for Me. I told him that this very night he would deny Me three times. Indeed that is what happened but he repented of his sin and I forgave him.
My dear brothers and sisters, you know that you have sinned many times in your life time. Sins are committed because of pride. You know you cannot avoid sin unless you call upon Me and ask for the graces you need to avoid sin and to do good. I am always ready to help you if you come to Me. All sinners must repent of all their sins and promise Me that with My help they will not sin again. Keep close to Me and you will be protected from sin. I bless you all.”
