The Parable of the Tenant Farmers

The Parable of the Tenant Farmers

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 20, 9 – 19:

Then Jesus proceeded to tell the people this parable. “A man planted a vineyard, leased it to tenant farmers, and then went on a journey for a long time. At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenant farmers to receive some of the produce of the vineyard. But they beat the servant and sent him away empty-handed. So he proceeded to send another servant, but him also they beat and insulted and sent away empty-handed. Then he proceeded to sent a third, but this one too they wounded and threw out. The owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I shall send my beloved son; maybe they will respect him.’ But when the tenant farmers saw him they said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Let us kill him that the inheritance may become ours.’ So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What will the owner of the vineyard do to them? He will come and put those tenant farmers to death and turn over the vineyard to others.” When the people heard this, they exclaimed, “Let it not be so!” But he looked at them and asked, “What then does this scripture passage mean: “The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?
Everyone who falls on that stone will be dashed to pieces; and it will crush anyone on whom it falls.” The scribes and chief priests sought to lay their hands on him at that very hour, but they feared the people, for they knew that he had addressed this parable to them.

I thank all those who have sent me money to pay the bills. I still need some more so if you can send me $300 I would be very happy indeed. I am going through a hard time and I have no money to buy anything. Our dear Mother Mary came last evening to visit me and I asked Her for help. She told me that I should write about it and some will help me. So I do what She told me. She said that the money for the building of the Shrine and the monasteries will soon come so that I can begin this work which She and Jesus, Her Son, asked me. Please pray that everything will go well.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Come and listen to the explanation of the parable written above My dear brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters. I gave this parable to the Jewish people and some scribes and chief priests were present. The vineyard means Israel and the owner is God the Father and the tenants are the Jewish people. Every now and then the Father sent prophets to the Jewish people to show them what they were doing wrong and what they had to do. Many of these prophets were caught by the people, some were killed, others were chased away. They did not want to listen to these servants of the Father. At the end the Father sent Me, His Son, to the Jewish people to teach them about the Kingdom of God and what they had to do. What did they do to Me, the Father’s Son? You know that they arrested Me, brought Me to court and condemned Me. Then they brought Me to Pontus Pilate and laid the charge against Me. They said that I was an imposter telling the people that I was the Son of God. Pontus Pilate wanted to let Me go free but the Jewish people never stopped attacking Me. At the end Pontus Pilate had Me scourged and then he gave Me to the soldiers who did what the high priests and the scribes wanted: to hang Me on the cross. This is what they did, but after three days My resurrection took place and I came back to life never to die again.
Dear friends, all this is what is meant by the parable of the Tenant Farmers. The scribes and high priest understood and they wanted to arrest Me but they feared the people. You will celebrate My Passion and death on the cross next week. I bless you all.”

The Authority of Jesus Questioned

The Authority of Jesus Questioned

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 20, 1 – 8:

One day as Jesus was teaching the people in the temple area and proclaiming the good news, the chief priests and scribes, together with the elders, approached him and said to him, ‘Tell us, by what authority are you doing these things? Or who is the one who gave you this authority?” Jesus said to them in reply, “I shall ask you a question. Tell me, was John’s baptism of heavenly or of human origin?” They discussed this among themselves, and said, “If we say, ‘Of heavenly origin,’ he will say, ‘Why did you not believe him?’ But if we say, ‘Of human origin,’ then all the people will stone us, for they are convinced that John was a prophet.” So they answered that they did not know from where it came. Then Jesus said to them, “Neither shall I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

Today is the great feast of the Annunciation of the Lord and Our Blessed Mother will come to visit me this evening. I will ask Her to bless you all and to intercede for you all before Her Son Jesus. She loves us Her children and She calls us all to follow Her Son Jesus. Let us commit ourselves totally to Our Lord Jesus and follow the way that He has traced out for us when He was on earth. I am praying for you all every day.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Believe in Me with all your heart My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who know Me and follow Me. When I was on earth the chief priests and the elders did not believe in Me and they would come to Me and questioned Me. They asked where did I get the authority to do all that I was doing. They considered that I was just another man like them although I am the Son of God with all the power of God. I carried out many healings among the people and I did other miracles such as raising the dead to life, I was transfigured on the mountain and I predicted more than once the way I would die. The Jewish leaders, however, refused to accept Me and at the end they were the ones who had Me crucified and I died on the cross, but after three days I came back to life. My resurrection is the greatest proof of My divinity. I appeared to the Apostles and others for forty days and these people all came to believe in Me and accept Me as the Redeemer of the people of the world.
Come My dear friends and believe that I am your Savior for I died to atone for your sins and to open heaven for you. I want to live in your heart every day and give you the graces you need to follow Me and to enter heaven one day. I love you all.”

The Cleansing of the Temple

The Cleansing of the Temple

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 19, 45 – 48:

Then Jesus entered the temple area and proceeded to drive out those who were selling things, saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.'” And every day he was teaching in the temple area. The chief priests, the scribes, and the teachers of the people, meanwhile, were seeking to put him to death, but they could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on his words.

Tomorrow is the great feast of the Annunciation of the Lord, when Our Blessed Mother was visited by The Archangel Gabriel to announce to Her that She would be the Mother of the Messiah, the Savior of the world. Her Son is no other but the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. She will give birth to Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our Blessed Mother will be known as the Mother of God for indeed Jesus is God equal to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Let us celebrate fittingly this great feast. She will come to visit me tomorrow and bring me a message. I will publish it in the Newspaper, the Voice of Heaven, in a few weeks.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“It is important My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to understand that My houses (churches) throughout the world are houses of prayer. They are not places to sell things and must not be dens of thieves.
You know that I chased away all those who were selling in the temple in Jerusalem. I had a strap and I drove all those thieves away from the temple for they had changed the temple into a marketplace. I overthrew their tables and sent them out. I want every person in My churches to respect the place where I live and stop talking and shouting and selling all kinds of things.
My dear friends, make sure that on Sunday and on all days you go to church, that you respect My place and enter in to pray. I am present there in My house and you must realize this fact and show your love to Me by genuflecting, by kneeling, by making the sign of the cross and by praying to Me. I am there to grant you all that you need especially to fill you with the graces and strength so that you will be able to follow all the commandments of God. Do not make My home a marketplace. I bless you all.”
