The Day of the Son of Man

The Day of the Son of Man

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 17, 22 – 37:

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. There will be those who will say to you, ‘Look, there he is,’ or ‘Look, here he is.’ Do not go off, do not run in pursuit. For just as lightning flashes and lights up the sky from on side to another, so will the Son of Man be in his day. But first he must suffer greatly and be rejected by this generation. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man; they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage up to the day that Noah entered the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all. Similarly, as it was in the days of Lot; they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building; on the day when Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone rained from the sky to destroy them all. So it will be on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
On that day, a person who is on the housetop and whose belongings are in the house must not go down to get them, and likewise a person in the field must not return to what was left behind. Remember the wife of Lot. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will save it. I tell you, on that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. And there will be two women grinding meat together; one will be taken, the other left.” They said to him in reply, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there also the vultures will gather.”

Our Bishop was at our parish on Sunday, the Feast of Divine Mercy. He came to confirm a good group of teenagers during the Mass of 11:00 a.m. He spoke to the youth in a very fine way and he prayed that those who received the Holy Spirit at confirmation maybe fine Christians who believe and love Jesus, Our Savior, through the power of the Holy Spirit. There was a large group of people in church for this great sacrament of the Church.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Take to heart that I will return one day My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who love your Savior and walk with Me every day. It is a fact that one day the end of the world will come. I gave the Apostles two examples of the destruction of towns. I had selected Noah to build and ark, which is a boat, and I told him the day he should enter the ark with his family and all the animals. When he entered the ark, it began to rain and the flood came and every person was killed. No one survive this great flood except Noah and his family. You should also remember what happened to Sodom at the time of Lot. Lot and his people were told to leave Sodom and the day they left fire and brimstone came down from the sky to destroy them all. When I come at the end of the world, all will gather in one place and I will judge all the people and those who followed Me will come with Me to heaven while the others will go to hell and then the earth will be destroyed. So, My dear friends, do not wait but come and follow Me today because no one knows when I will return to earth to judge the living and the dead. Only the Father knows when I will return to earth. All the people of the earth should believe in Me and follow Me every day. Then they will be saved and I will bring them all with Me to heaven. I love you all.”

Triumph of God’s Mercy

Triumph of God’s Mercy

A reading from the Letter to the Romans 11, 30 -36:

Just as you once disobeyed God but have now received mercy because of their disobedience, so they have now disobeyed in order that, by virtue of the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy. For God delivered all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all.
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unsearchable his ways!
“For who has known the mind of the Lord or who has been his counselor?”
“Or who has given him anything that he may be repaid?”
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Today Sunday is the Feast of Divine Mercy. It was Saint Faustina who spread the great mercy of God throughout the world. We often speak of love but mercy is greater than love. Mercy is the highest form of love for mercy is always ready to forgive all those who have sinned against God and against you. Jesus was always full of mercy when He was on earth. He showed mercy to the Apostles, to many people who came to Him like the woman called in adultery. He forgave them all. Let us be full of mercy as Jesus is full of mercy and never carry any hatred or rejection in our hearts.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to be full of mercy as I am full of mercy for you. I taught Saint Faustina for many years about Divine Mercy. She wrote a book about all that I told her. Remember that My mercy is as deep as the ocean and as high as the heavens. It was out of mercy for each one of you that I came and was born on earth, the Son of My Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. I came to show you what is Divine Mercy. Although I did not commit any sin, I accepted to suffer and die on the cross to atone for all your sins. I love you all and through My mercy, I want you all with Me in heaven. I gave you all the graces you need to follow Me. If you repent of your sins, I will take them all away and forget them all. Learn from Me My dear friends and practice mercy every day towards your friends and neighbours. If you should suffer, offer your suffering to Me as an act of mercy for those who do not believe and do not repent of their sins. Do not hold any hatred against anyone but pray for mercy for them all. I am full of mercy for you and I love you all.

The Report of the Guard

The Report of the Guard

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 28, 11 – 15:

While the women were going, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had happened. They assembled with the elders and took counsel; then they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him while we were asleep. And if this gets to the ears of the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” The soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has circulated among the Jews to the present day.

I am very happy today because my oil tank is full. I thank all those who sent money to help me. I suffered much during the two days and two nights without heat. Last night I hardly slept because it was so cold. I went to bed with my winter coat and a cap on my head so I ears would be covered. As soon as I turn around in bed I woke up and I had to get up for I am cold. I then walk around the house hoping to bring some heat to my body. Anyway, I will sleep very well tonight.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Resurrected Son of God, that He gave to Me, Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to me these words,

“As you see from the Bible quotation above, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, the Jewish leaders did not want the soldiers to tell the truth. They gave them a lot of money to tell the story full of lies that the leaders told them. So many Jews believe in their leaders and not in the Apostles.
The soldiers were there when I came out of the tomb and they were terrified and ran away. They knew in their hearts what had happened but they never told the people about it but instead they told lies.
My dear friends, you know the truth because the Apostles told all that had happened. It is written in the Bible in all the four gospels. Yes, on the third day I came out of the tomb alive and I showed Myself to the women who came to the tomb. I also appeared to the two men on their way to Emmaus. I also came and appeared to the Apostles and spoke to them. Although they were afraid at the beginning, in time they came to believe that I was truly resurrected from the dead. You My friends are to follow the Apostles and believe all that they have told you because what they said is the complete truth. Now that I am your Savior and I want to live in your hearts every day. Open your hearts to Me and I will give you My great gifts of love, peace and joy. You will receive the strength you need to accomplish all that I will ask of you. I bless you and I love you all.”
