Zacchaeus the Tax Collector

Zacchaeus the Tax Collector

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 19, 1 – 10:

Jesus came to Jericho and intended to pass through the town. Now a man there named Zacchaeus, who was a chief tax collector and also a wealthy man, was seeking to see who Jesus was but he could not see him because of the crowd, for he was short in stature. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus, who was about to pass that way. When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house.” And he came down quickly and received him with joy. When they all saw this, they began to grumble saying, “He has gone to stay at the house of a sinner.” But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Behold, half of my possession, Lord, I shall give to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone I shall repay it four times over.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house because this man too is a descendant of Abraham. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost.”

I have some money in a bank in the USA and I cannot use the money until the money is activated. I wish I had a person who could pay $267 US to reactivate this money so I could get it to pay my bills. Is there anyone who can help me? Please write to me if you can help with what Our Blessed Mother asked me to do and I will tell you what you have to do. I thank you very much.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, I call you all to keep your hearts open. If you are My follower you will always be attune to Me and be opened to help those in need. You see in today’s story what I did for this man called Zacchaeus. He was considered a sinner by all the people because he was a tax collector. However, he wanted to see Me and he ran ahead and climb a tree so he would have no difficulty to look at Me. There was a special grace working in his heart. When I came to the tree, I told him to come down quickly as I would stay at his home. I knew that this man was ready for a conversion and I wanted to help him. I went to stay at his home and spoke to him. You see what he said at the end. He was a rich man and now he agreed to give half of his fortune to help the poor and to pay four times the amount he forced people to pay. I saw in this man that the Holy Spirit had worked in his heart and that is why I said to him these words, “Today salvation has come to this house.” The people of course did not understand why I went to stay at his house but the reason why I went was to help this man that he may be saved.
I am always ready to help every person who turns his heart towards Me. I am Your Savior and I will do all I can to bring you to the true way that leads to heaven. Come My friends and listen to Me and follow Me. I love you all and I want you all with Me in heaven. I bless you all.”

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 18, 9 – 14:

Jesus then addressed this parable to those who were convinced of their own righteousness and despised everyone else. “Two people went up to the temple area to pray; one was a Pharisee and the other was a tax collector. The Pharisee took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself, ‘O God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity–greedy, dishonest, adulterous–or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week, and I pay tithes on my whole income.’ But the tax collector stood off at a distance and would not even raise his eyes to heaven but beat his breast and prayed, ‘O God, be merciful to me a sinner.’ I tell you the latter went home justified, not the former; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.’ “

We had a beautiful sunny day on Wednesday with the result that a good amount of snow melted. There are plenty of bare sports in the fields this evening. There is not much snow left in front of my house and there is plenty of water going down the drains. I hope in another week or so the snow will be all gone.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you all to be people of prayer especially you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have great faith in Me. I gave a parable to the Jews one day about the way a Pharisee prayed and how a tax collector prayed. The Pharisee of course went right up in front and stood straight and showed God he was a holy person. He told God that he was happy that he was not like the rest of humanity, for the rest were greedy, dishonest, adulterous or like this tax collector. Now the tax collector stayed back and bend his head and struck his breast and prayed this prayer:
‘O God, be merciful to me a sinner.’ As I said in the reading, the tax collector went home justified but not the Pharisee. So I tell you all that when you come to prayer be humbled, don’t think that you are better than the others because if you do, you will be humbled like the Pharisee. Be like the tax collector and know that you are a sinner and you need mercy from the Father. I bless you all.”

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

April 15, 2015

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 18, 1 – 8:

Then Jesus told them a parable about the necessity for them to pray always without becoming weary. He said, “There was a judge in a certain town who neither feared God not respected any human being. And a widow in that town used to come to him and say, ‘Render a just decision for me against my adversary.’ For a long time the judge was unwilling, but eventually he thought, ‘While it is true that I neither fear God nor respect any human being, because this widow keeps bothering me I shall deliver a just decision for her lest she finally come and strike me.’ The Lord said, “Pay attention to what the dishonest judge says. Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones, who call out to him day and night? Will he be slow to answer them? I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

My head cold is now getting better and I thank all those who prayed for me and all those who sent me money to heat my house and to pay my bills. I have not yet paid them all. Yet I live with almost nothing in my pocket and I need to send the “Newspaper of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island” as it is time now and it is all written. We had a beautiful day today and a lot of snow melted. I hope it all goes away soon.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Be persistent in prayer My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe that I have all power to help you. The story of the parable of the widow shows the attitude you should have. She went to see the judge often asking him to render a just judgment for her against her adversary. The judge at the beginning did not take notice of her but after awhile he began to change. He thought that if I do not help this woman, she will drive me crazy. So he delivered a just judgment for her. So each person who comes to Me should not give up after a short time. Sometimes I want to test your faith in Me for many their faith is weak and they give up after two or three times. Remember I hear every one of your petitions but it does not mean that I answer them all right away. Faith is so important for those who come to Me to ask for help. I tend to answer the request right away but it might take six months or a year sometimes before you get what you asked. It has to be something which is good and does not cause harm to others.
My dear friends, I am always there to help you and I know what you want before you asked Me. However, for your good you must ask what you need with love and faith and you must be ready to ask every day. I love you and I bless you all.”
