The Man Born Blind (3)

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 9, 24 – 41:

So a second time the Pharisees called the man who had been blind and said to him, “Give God the praise!. We know that this man is a sinner.” He replied, “If he is a sinner, I do not know. One thing I do know is that I was blind and now I see.” So they said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?” He answered them, “I told you already and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples too?” They ridiculed him and said, “You are that man’s disciple; we are disciples of Moses. We know that God spoke to Moses, but we do not know where this one is from.” The man answered and said to them, “This is what is so amazing, that you do not know where he is from, yet he opened my eyes. We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if one is devout and does his will, he listens to him. It is unheard of that anyone ever opened the eyes of a person born blind. If this man was not from God, he would not be able to do anything.” They answered and said to him, “You were born totally in sin, and are you trying to teach us?” Then they threw him out.
When Jesus heard that they had threw him out, he found him and said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” He answered and said, “Who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?” Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and the one speaking with you is he.” He said, “I do believe, Lord,” and he worshiped him. Then Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, so that those who do not see might see, and those who do see might become blind.”
Some of the Pharisees who were with him heard this and said to him, “Surely, we are not also blind, are we?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you are saying, “We see, so your sin remains.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call you all My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to come and read My words which I told Father Melvin. I had opened the eyes of a man blind from birth by using My power of healing. The Jews who saw this found it a great miracle. They had never seen this that a man blind from birth could all of a sudden see very clearly. This man was brought to the Pharisees and they questioned him, saying, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?” The man who was healed said that a man took clay and rubbed his eyes and told him to go and wash and when he did so, he could see very well. The Pharisees doubted that the man was born blind but having questioned his parents, it was true that he could not see from birth. The Pharisees had told the man who was healed that I was a sinner. The healed man defended Me by telling them that God does not listen to a person who is a sinner. He will listen to a devout man and one who does the will of God. He said to them that it is unheard of that one can open the eyes of a man born blind. In this way he showed them that I was from God. The Pharisees ridiculed him by saying he was a sinner and threw him out.
After a short time, I met the man whom I healed and asked him if he believed in the Son of Man. He did not know the Son of Man. So I told him that I was the one. So he said that he believed and he worshiped Me. Because of his faith in Me, he will be saved.
So, My dear friends, you too are called to believe with all your heart that I am the Son of Man, the Savior of the world. I am the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Come and follow Me and you too will be saved. I love you all.”

The Man Born Blind (2)

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 9, 13 – 23:

They brought the one who was once blind to the Pharisees. Now Jesus had made clay and opened his eyes on a Sabbath. So then the Pharisees also asked him how he was able to see. He said them, “He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and now I can see.” So some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he does not keep the Sabbath.” But others said, “How can a sinful man do such signs?” And there was a division among them. So they said to the blind man again, “What do you have to say about him, since he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.” Now the Jews did not believe that he had been blind and gained his sight until they summoned the parents of the one who had gained his sight. They asked them, “Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How does he now see? His parents answered and said, “We know that this is our son and that he was born blind. We do not know how he sees now, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him, he is of age; he can speak for himself.” His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone acknowledged him as the Messiah, he would be expelled from the synagogue. For this reason his ;parents said, “He is of age; question him.”

I was away the whole day yesterday. I went to New Brunswick. I left at 8:00 a.m. and I arrived back home at 4:30 p.m. It was a beautiful trip because it was sunny the whole day and it was the warmest day yet in 2015. Yesterday it was 28 degrees Celsius. It will be less warm in the next few days. In the evening I went to the prayer meeting at our church at 8:00 p.m.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, I wish to ask you a question: Can a sinner who does not believe in Me, your Savior, perform any miraculous healings? I tell you that one who does not have faith in Me and sins often and never repents cannot have the gift of healing as I have. I cured this blind man by rubbing his eyes with clay and then I sent him to wash and after he had washed his eyes he could see very well. The Pharisees, however, did not want to believe that this man was born blind so they had to call his parents who told them that indeed he was their son and that he was born blind. The parents were afraid of the Pharisees, so they did not want to explain how he was healed. Instead, they told the Jews to call their son as he was an adult and he could explain to them what happened. Because I healed this man on the Sabbath, the Pharisees said that I was not from God. However some objected to that because of this miraculous sign I had performed.
My dear friends, I must tell you that anyone who has the gift of healing and they do great physical healing means that they are My friends for My power goes through them to heal the sick. Go and visit these people who have this power and they will help you. I bless you all.”

The Man Born Blind

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 9, 1 – 12:

As Jesus passed by he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents; that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither he nor his parents sinned; it is so that the works of God might be made visible through him. We have to do the works of the one who sent me while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” When he had said this, he spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva, and smeared the clay on his eyes, and said to him, “Go wash in the :Pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So he went and washed, and came back able to see.
His neighbors and those who had seen him earlier as a beggar said, “Isn’t this the one who used to sit and beg?” Some said, “It is,” but others said, “No, he just looks like him.” He said, “I am.” So they said to him, “So, how were your eyes opened?” He replied, “The man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and told me, ‘Go to Siloam and wash.’ So I went there and washed and was able to see.” And they said to him, “Where is he?” He said, “I don’t know.”

A friend of mine with whom I went to school died on Saturday. His name is Melvin Arsenault. I will go to the wake this evening and pray for him. He lost his wife a few years ago. He died of cancer. I am praying that someone can send me money to pay my lawyer for I need the money at the end of this week. May the Lord bless you all.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You know My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that I am the greatest healer this world has ever seen. One day in Israel I healed a blind man. He was born blind and what he did was to sit outside the door of the temple begging for money to live. My disciples asked Me to tell them who had sinned, this man or his parents. I told them that neither one had sinned but this happened so that the people would be able to see the great healing I brought about. I did this in order to heal him: I spat on the ground and took the clay and smeared it on his eyes. Then I told him to go and wash in the pool of Siloam. He went and when he came back to Me, he could see very well. The people who knew this man who was healed asked him how his eyes were opened and he answered them that it was Jesus who healed him. They wanted to see Me but I was gone and the man who could see did not know where I was.
Even now, My brothers and sisters, I continue to heal people. There are some people who have been given a special gift of healing so when they pray to Me for healing of a sick person I answer that person and I heal the sick person. Go to see one who has this gift when you are sick and his prayers will bring a great healing to you. However, I heal only those people who believe in Me and follow Me. Walk with Me and you will receive many wonderful gifts. I love you all.”
