Recapitulation

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 12, 44 – 50:

Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in the one who sent me, and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me. I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness. And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them, I do not condemn him, for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world. Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words has something to judge him: the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day, because I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. So what I say, I say as the Father told me.”

We had a mostly cloudy day today with rain in the afternoon and evening. The temperature however was close to 20 degrees Celsius Iwent to Summerside today for different reasons and then I went to Tignish, the village near where I live,to buy some food. Please pray every day that the money to build the shrine and the monasteries may arrive soon.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I am the light so come out of the darkness and enter the light, My brother Melvin and all My bothers and sisters who believe in Me. I spoke loudly to the Jews that those who believe in Me, believe not just in Me but also in the one who sent Me into the world. The one who sent Me into the world is God the Father and He is truly My Heavenly Father. Those who do not believe in Me live in the darkness and they will not be saved. I am he only one who can save you but you need to believe in Me with all your heart. However, I did not come to condemn you but to save the people of the world. My words, though, will condemn you on the last day because I did not speak on My own but the Father who sent Me commanded Me what to say and speak. If one follows His commandment, he or she will receive eternal life. So all what I spoke when I was on earth, I spoke those words because the Father told Me to do so. I love you all.”

Unbelief and Belief among the Jews

Unbelief and Belief among the Jews

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 12, 37 – 43:

After he had said this, Jesus left and hid from them. Although he had performed so many signs in their presence they did not believe in him, in order that the word which Isaiah the prophet spoke might be fulfilled:
“Lord, who has believed our preaching, to whom has the might of the Lord been revealed?”
For this reason they could not believe, because again Isaiah said:
“He blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they might not see with their eyes and understand with their heart and be converted, and I would heal them.”
Isaiah said this because he saw his glory and spoke about him. Nevertheless, many, even among the authorities, believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not acknowledge it openly in order not to be expelled from the synagogue. For they preferred human praise to the glory of God.

We had another beautiful sunny day on Monday and it was warmer than yesterday. It became cloudy in the evening and we had a mild rain during the night. A number of people sent me names to add to the Book of Remembrance. I always offer every week three Holy Masses for those written in the book and I will do this every week for a full year. Many people have been changed completely after I started offering Masses for them.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Faith is a very important gift for every person. So ask for the increase of this gift My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me. Although many Jews saw all the great miracles I did such as bring Lazarus who was buried back to life, still they would not believe that I was the Messiah, the Savior of the world. Many still wanted to arrest Me and kill Me. Others however believed in Me as the Messiah but they would not acknowledge it openly because of their fear of the Pharisees. They could be expelled from the synagogue. I had to go in hiding so that they would not arrest Me before the time was right.
My dear friends, it is difficult at times today to show yourself as one who believes in Me. If you do, they will laugh at you and say that you are crazy. However, you know that you cannot be saved unless you believe in Me and follow Me every day. Be men and women of prayer and go to church regularly especially every Sunday. Go to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist regularly and you will be closely united to Me and I will give you all the graces you need to avoid sin and to grow in holiness. I bless you all.”

The Coming of Jesus’ Hour

June 8, 2015

The Coming of Jesus’ Hour

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 12, 20 – 35:

Now there were some Greeks among those who had come up to worship at the feast. They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, “Sir, we would like to see Jesus.” Philip went and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus. Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there also will my servant be. The Father will honor whoever serves me.
I am troubled now. Yet what should I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? But it was for this purpose that I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it and will glorify it again.” The crowd there heard it and said it was thunder; but others said, “An angel has spoken to him.” Jesus answered and said, “This voice did not come for my sake but for yours. Now is the time of judgment on this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out. And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.” He said this indicating the kind of death he would die. So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the law that the Messiah remains forever. Then how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?” Jesus said to them, “The light will be among you only for a little while. Walk while you have the light, so that darkness may not overcome you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of the light.”

We had another beautiful sunny day on Sunday. It was windy and somewhat cold. I went for a walk in the afternoon and I prayed my rosary but I had to dress up because it was only 13 degrees Celsius. It will get warmer tomorrow. Yesterday was the Feast of Corpus Christi, and I thanked the Lord for this great gift that He gave us. We should go for adoration at least one hour a week in order to have a very special and deep relationship with Jesus.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Keep in your hearts My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters these words that I address to you today. The Bible passage is filled with My teachings to the Apostles and the Jewish people listening to Me. I told them all that My hour had come and that I am about to be glorified. I gave them the example of a grain of wheat. If a grain of wheat does not die, it does not produce anything. However, if it dies it produces much fruit. I also told them that whoever loves his life, will lose it but whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life. Remember, the Father will honor whoever serves Me. I continued to speak to them by saying that now is the time of judgment on this world, now the ruler of the world will be thrown out. The ruler of this world is no one else but Satan. He was defeated when I was lifted up on the cross and I drew everyone to myself. So indeed at the time I spoke these words, My death was near. The Jews said that the Messiah is to remain forever. So how can he be lifted up. They also asked Me who the Son of Man was. You know that the Son of Man is no one else but me and although I died I am still with you. I talked to them about the light for I am the light. So I told them that the light would be among them only for a little while. Then I called them to walk in the light and to believe in the light so that they may become children of the light.
So My brothers and sisters, come and walk with Me every day. I will show you the path you should follow. You will not get lost if you are with Me. I want you all to be the Father’s children and My dear ones. I love you all.”
