Appearance to Thomas

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 20, 24 – 29:

Thomas, called Didymus one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nailmarks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe.” Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God.” Jesus said to him “Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”

I thank all those who have sent me money to buy heating oil to heat my house. I still need some more and I hope it comes in soon so I will not have to sleep in the cold for too many nights. As I type these words about my cold house, my fingers are frozen and they hurt. I still need money to buy some food to eat. Thank you for your kindness.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“As you read above, Thomas refused to believe in Me unless he put his finger into the wounds from the nails in My hands and put his finger into My side where the spear pierce My heart. Did you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are reading this have difficulty to believe in My Resurrection from the dead? All My followers today believe in Me without seeing Me with their eyes and without putting their fingers in My wounds. You are all like the other Apostles except Thomas. There are some today who do not believe in Me because they think that I was only human and My body is still in the grave where I was buried. The truth is however that I rose from the dead three days after My death on the cross. To strengthen the faith of the Apostles, I stayed with them forty days after My Resurrection and then I ascended into heaven. After these forty days, the Apostles’ faith was very strong and now they were ready to do what I had asked them to do. They had to be strengthen and that is why the Father and I sent the Holy Spirit on them at Pentecost. It was there at Pentecost that My Church was born and three thousand people were baptized that day.
My dear friends, it is very important that you have great faith in My Resurrection and know that I am the Son of God. I am your Messiah, your Savior, who offered a perfect sacrifice on the cross for your redemption. Come and follow Me and you will enter heaven one day.”
