Judgment by the Mosaic Law

A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans 2, 17 – 29:

Now if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast of God and know his will and are able to discern what is important since you are instructed from the law, and if you are confident that you are a guide for the blind and a light for those in darkness, that you are a trainer of the foolish and teacher of the simple, because in the law you have the formulation of knowledge and truth–then you who teach another, are you failing to teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who forbid adultery, do you commit adultery? You who detest idols,. do you rob temples? You who boast of the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? For, as it is written, “Because of you the name of God is reviled among the Gentiles.”
Circumcision, to be sure has value if you observe the law; but if you break the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. Again, if an uncircumcised man keeps the precepts of the law, will he not be considered circumcised? Indeed, those who are physically uncircumcised but carry out the law will pass judgment on you, with your written law and circumcision, who break the law. One is not a Jew outwardly. True circumcision is not outward, in the flesh. Rather, one is a Jew inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart, in the spirit, not the letter; his praise is not from human beings but from God.

Tuesday was the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Our Blessed Mother in Her various apparitions often spoke about the rosary and sometimes She holds a rosary. It is the prayer that She loves and She wants us to pray the rosary every day. Let us commit ourselves to pray the rosary every day of our lives.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters will be judged by the commandments of Our Heavenly Father. The first one to receive the commandments was Moses on Mount Sinai. He had spent many days on the mountain and there the Father taught him that the Jews were to become the people of God. They will have to obey the ten commandments and be people of prayer. All the Jews were taught about the commandments and they were to keep them. However, they did not follow what the Father had taught them. How many of them worshipped idols like those in the desert who worshipped a golden calf and this was a terrible offense against God.
You too My friends are called to follow the ten commandments. When I was on earth I taught the people to observe all the commandments as they come from the Father. Today there are many who do not follow what I taught them. They are sinners and refuse to repent of their sins. I call you all to repent of all your sins and to show your love for Me. If you repent I will take away all your sins and you will become truly the children of God. I bless you all.”

Father Melvin

P.S. We have another beautiful sunny day but it is cooler.
