Stephen’s Discourses (1)
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 7, 1 – 8:
Then the high priest asked Stephen, “Is this so?” And Stephen replied, “My brothers and fathers, listen. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was in Mesopotamia, before he had settled in Haran, and said to him, “Go forth from your land and from your kinsfolk to the land that I will show you. So he went forth from the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. And from there, after his father died, he made him migrate to this land where you now dwell. Yet he gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot’s length, but he did promise to give it to him and his discordance, as a possession, even though he was childless. And God spoke this, ‘His descendants shall be aliens in a land not their own, where they shall be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years; but I will bring judgment on the nation they serve’, God said, ‘and after that they will come out and worship me in this place.’ Then he gave him the covenant of circumcision, and so he became the father of Isaac, and circumcised him on the eighth day, as Isaac did Jacob, and Jacob the twelve patriarchs.
Today I sent all the Newsletters of Our Blessed Mother to the French subscribers. They will receive it in a few days.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me and live in every part of the world. One who had great faith in Me was Saint Stephen. He was arrested and brought to the Sanhedrin and tried. In the passage above St. Stephen gave a talk about Abraham, the founder of the faith in the One God. My Father came to him one day and told him to leave his country and go to Haran, which was complete foreign to him. The Father had told him that He would give him that land and it would also belong to his children. At that time Abraham did not have any children because his wife was barren. She could not have any children. However, the Father gave him the covenant and the circumcision. In time Abraham had a son with his wife and he called him Isaac and he had him circumcised. Abraham soon had many descendants and they could take over the country but before they went to Egypt and suffered much there for four hundred years as slaves, but the Father brought them all back to Israel.”

P.S. We had a beautiful sunny day especially in the afternoon and it was not so hot as usual. We might have rain during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.
