The Judgment of the Nations
A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 25, 31 – 45:
Jesus said, “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the king will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; a stranger and you welcomed me; naked and you clothed me; ill and you cared for me; in prison and you visited me.’ They the righteous will answer him and say, “Lord when did we see you hungry and feed you; or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you? And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’ Then they will answer and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?’ He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’ And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
I had a visitor today and this visitor was a Baptist minister. He was very gentle and kind and talked a lot about faith in Jesus and prayer. I talked to him about how Jesus loves us for He is always ready to heal us and to give us His love, peace and joy. I told him about the many people who were healed in the chapel of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island. At the end he asked me to pray with him as he suffers from pain in his body. I brought him up to the chapel and I anointed him and prayed for his healing. I prayed that the Lord would bless him and bring him into the Church Jesus founded upon Saint Peter as the head.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I know that you believe My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters that I will return to earth one day to judge the living and the dead. No one knows the day nor the hour I will come except God the Father. However, it is true that I will come with great glory at the end of the world. All with gather in Jerusalem and there I will judge the living and the dead. Those on My right will come to Me to heaven but those on My left will be condemn to hell. It is those who did what I have asked them to do who will come to heaven and those who refused to do what I asked will go to hell. You are to love all your brothers and sisters and all your neighbours and to be ready to help them. Be humble by accepting Me as your Savior and Lord and be men and women of prayer. I want every person to be saved and live in eternal bliss in heaven, so begin now to follow all that I have told you. I love you and I bless you.”
Father Melvin
P.S. There are many sick people everywhere. Let us pray for them that the Lord heals them and gives them an increase of faith so they will be strengthened to follow Him every day. I am praying for you all.
