The Entry into Jerusalem

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 21, 1 – 11:

When they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find an ass tethered, and colt with her. Untie them and bring them here to me. And if anyone should say anything to you, reply, ‘The master has need of them.’ Then he will send them at once. This happened so that what had been spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled: “Say to daughter Zion, ‘Behold, your king come to you, meek and riding on an ass, and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.'”
The disciples went and did as Jesus had ordered them. They brought the ass and the colt and laid their cloaks over them, and he sat upon them. The very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and strewed them on the road. The crowds preceding him and those following kept crying out and saying,
“Hosanna to the Son of David; blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord;
hosanna in the highest.”
And when he entered Jerusalem the whole city was shaken and asked, “Who is this?” And the crowd replied, “This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth in Galilee.”

I am praying every day for peace in Ukraine and that Russia stops interfering in that free country. Please pray for this intention every day. There are many Catholics in Ukraine and if Russia takes over the Ukraine, the Catholics will suffer.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“Be full of joy My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have accepted Me as your Lord and Savior. Very close to the day of My Passion and My Death on the cross, I sent two of My disciples to go and get an animal and to bring that animal to Me. I sat on it and with many people I entered the city of Jerusalem. The people would lay their coats on the road where the donkey would pass and others had branches and they would swing them as the people sang. They especially sang this song, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord; hosanna in the highest.’ I entered Jerusalem as the King of the Universe and all were filled with great joy. It was only a few days later that I was arrested, tortured and nailed to the cross to die a horrible death. Yet indeed I am the King of you all for I am your Lord, the Son of God, and your Savior. I love you all and I gave My life to save you all.”
