Thanksgiving for their Faith
Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Thessalonians (1:2-10):
We give thanks to God always for all of you, remembering you in our prayers, unceasingly calling to mind your work of faith and labor of love and endurance in hope of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father, knowing, brothers loved by God, how you were chosen. For our gospel did not come to you in word alone, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with much conviction. You know what sort of people we were among you for your sake. And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, receiving the word in great affliction, with joy from the Holy Spirit, so that you became a model for all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia. For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but in every place your faith in God has gone forth, so that we have no need to say anything. For they themselves openly declare about us what sort of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God and to await his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the coming wrath.

The Thanksgiving Day is over once more, but we should thank the Lord every day for all that He does for us. He is our greatest Friend and He loves us with all His Heart.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior giving to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Like Saint Paul give thanks to the Father every day, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who know that I live in your hearts. It is God who created you and gave you all the gifts that you have as a human being. He called you to believe in Him and to obey Him in all things. It is God the Father who sent Me, your Savior, into the world so I could teach you and show you the way you have to follow. I offered Myself in sacrifice to take away your sins and to give you the graces you need to believe in Me and be part of My great family. I want you all to have a great devotion to My Mother who is also your Mother. She loves you very much. Do not be afraid to speak about Me and My Mother to people whom you meet and tell them how you love us. I love you today and I will love you every day.”
