The Christian Family
Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Colossians (3:18-25, 4:1-6):
Wives, be subordinate to your husbands, as is proper in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and avoid any bitterness toward them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing to the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they may not become discouraged.
Slaves, obey your human masters in everything, not only when being watched, as currying favor, but in simplicity of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others, knowing that you will receive from the Lord the due payment of the inheritance; be slaves of the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will receive recompense for the wrong he committed, and there is no partiality. Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, realizing that you too have a Master in heaven.
Persevere in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving; at the same time, pray for us, too, that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak of the mystery of Christ, for which I am in prison, that I may make it clear, as I must speak. Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you know how you should respond to each one.

Yesterday I celebrated the Day of Thanksgiving with Holy Mass and prayers and in the evening I had a beautiful turkey dinner. May the Lord bless you all.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Whatever you do, do from the heart, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have offered yourselves completely to Me. I send special graces to all families that husband and wife may live in love and unity and may you love all your children. May the children obey their parents and I will bless them in a special way.
“Be people of prayer who pray every day and thank Me regularly for all I do for you. I am your friend who suffered and died for you, but now I am risen from the dead and I am always ready to help you. I want you all as members of My Kingdom even while you are here on earth. Ask Me for what you need and I will grant it to you. You are My friends and I love you all.”
