Pre-eminence of Christ
Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Colossians (1:15-23):
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he himself might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile all things for him, making peace by the blood of his cross through him, whether those on earth or those in heaven.
And you who once were alienated and hostile in mind because of evil deeds he has now reconciled in his fleshly body through his death, to present you holy, without blemish, and irreproachable before him, provided that you persevere in the faith, firmly grounded, stable, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, am a minister.

In a few days Pope Francis will consecrate the world to Our Blessed Mother. He asked that the statue of Our Lady in Fatima be brought to Rome for the time of the consecration of the world. Let us be united with the Pope as he does this great consecration on October 13th.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be reconciled, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who accepts Me as the Son of God. It was by My death that I reconciled you to My Father in heaven. I call you to persevere in the faith I brought to you when I was on earth.
“I am the image of the invisible God and in Me was created all things in heaven and on earth. I am the firstborn of all creation. I am the head of My Church and I am the first person to die and to undergo the resurrection in three days. Now I am your resurrected Savior never to die again, and to reign as your Lord and King forever. I brought peace to all of you who believe in Me by shedding My blood on the cross. So now walk with Me and you too will rise from the dead on the last day and I will be there to bring you with Me to heaven. I bless you all.”
