Plea for Unity and Humility

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Philippians (2:1-11):

If there is any encouragement in Christ, any solace in love, any participation in the Spirit, any compassion and mercy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, with the same love, united in heart, thinking one thing. Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, each looking out not for his own interests, but also everyone for those of others.
Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus,
Who, though he was in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God something to be grasped.
Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave,
coming in human likeness;
and found human in appearance, he humbled himself,
becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross.
Because of this, God greatly exalted him
and bestowed on him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend,
of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

          Yesterday was the first Saturday of the month of October. It is a day especially dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. All are called to Holy Mass on that great day every month. As Our Lady is our Mother, we have to honor Her in a special way every First Saturday of the month. We must not forget Her every day of the month.

          Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
          “Be humble, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters, in imitation of Me. I am the Son of God, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity and as such I have all power together with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Yet out of love for you and in obedience to My Heavenly Father, I became a human being and I was born on earth like all of you. I was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I was born with a human nature although I had My divine nature. In this way all men and women who saw Me were seeing God in the form of man. I used the power of the Godhead at times especially when I healed people, raised the dead to life, multiplied the bread and fish, walked on the water, stopped the wind on the sea and many others things. All these miraculous things I did show that I am God and no human being can do such things unless they receive My power. Even today some have My power to do what I did. So My dear friends come close to Me and My power and strength will be in you to help you overcome every problem and to be filled with peace, love and joy. I bless you all.”
