Apostle to the Gentiles

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans (15:17-21):

I myself am convinced about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to admonish one another. But I have written to you rather boldly in some respects to remind you, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in performing the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering up of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the holy Spirit. In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to boast in what pertains to God. For I will not dare to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to lead the Gentiles to obedience by word and deed, by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum
7 I have finished preaching the gospel of Christ. Thus I aspire to proclaim the gospel not where Christ has already been named, so that I do not build on another’s foundation, but as it is written:
“Those who have never been told of him shall see, and those who have never heard of him shall understand.”

We had a nice warm day yesterday but it was cooler during the night. We are indeed having a very nice summer.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I boast of you My brother Melvin and of all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me as your Savior and are obedient to My words. Saint Paul was a great Apostle who was not afraid to admonish his brothers and sisters. He had received a special grace to be My minister to the people of his time, and through his letter he is also ministering to each one of you. He went to many countries to preach the Good News, which I gave him, and he worked very well. He did various signs and wonders and he did everything by the power of the Holy Spirit. He was always ready to go to other countries and areas to preach the gospel to people who had never heard of Me. He wanted all the people to come to know Me and to follow Me.
“My dear friends, know that I am the only Savior of the world. I have all power as I am the Son of God, and I offered the greatest sacrifice to My Heavenly Father for your salvation. I offer My own life on the cross in great suffering so that you can receive the graces you need and one day come to heaven whose gates I opened for you. I bless you all.”
