The Remnant of Israel

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans (11:1-10):

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? Of course not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the scripture says about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have torn down your altars, and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life.” But what is God’s response to him? “I have left for myself seven thousand men who have not knelt to Baal.” So also at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. But if by grace, it is no longer because of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
What then? What Israel was seeking it did not attain, but the elect attained it; the rest were hardened, as it is written: “God gave them a spirit of deep sleep, eyes that should not see and ears that should not hear, down to this very day.” And David says: “Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them; let their eyes grow dim so that they may not see, and keep their backs bent forever.”

I ask you all to pray for my intention at this time. I am praying that what Our Blessed Mother told me will come true very soon. I thank all those who sent me donations. They are a great help in my financial problems.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who acknowledge Me as your Mother. My Son Jesus is the one who give Me to you just before He died on the cross. I am not ashamed to say that I am an Israelite, as I was born in Israel and both of My parents were of the Jewish religion. We believed in God with all our heart and we prayed regularly. I was born just across the street from the Temple and I used to go to the Temple with my parents often when I was young. The Jewish nation was blessed by the Father and a good number of them accepted Jesus as their Savior. However the Jewish leaders refused to accept Him and in time they had Him crucified just outside the walls of Jerusalem. Pray that My people may come to accept My Son Jesus as their Lord and Savior and so they will follow Him every day.
“My dear children, I love you and I call upon you all to remain attached to Jesus, My Son, and to follow all that He has taught you. Be a strong member of His Church founded on the Apostles. I love you all.”
