The End of the First Mission
Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (14:21-28):
After [Saint Paul and Barnabas] had proclaimed the good news to that city and made a considerable number of disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch. They strengthened the spirits of the disciples and exhorted them to persevere in the faith, saying, “It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God.” They appointed presbyters for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, commended them to the Lord in whom they had put their faith. Then they traveled through Pisidia and reached Pamphylia. After proclaiming the word at Perga they went down to Attalia. From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work they had now accomplished. And when they arrived, they called the church together and reported what God had done with them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. Then they spent no little time with the disciples.

It was a joy to hear that a boy of 11 years was healed. This boy was suffering from cancer and I was asked by his mother and relatives to pray for him that the Lord would heal him. He was sent to a hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia, about a week ago, and they operated on him and found that there was no cancer, although they had seen it very well from the tests they had taken. The doctors said that this was incomprehensible. Yes, indeed the Lord had brought about a great miracle. Let us thank the Lord for all He does.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Remain strong, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who form part of My great family. St. Paul tells you in the reading that Christians undergo many hardships in order to enter the Kingdom of God. Do not fear this hardship. It comes from the evil one who wants you to stop walking with Me and to come back to the world and to follow your own ideas. In order to reach heaven, it is necessary to follow the will of God and not your own will. Your will is corrupted and it will lead you to sin by following the wrong path. You see this every day in the world. Because people follow their own will, they commit adultery, abortion, euthanasia and same-sex marriage, etc. All this goes completely against My will and unless they return to me and repent of their sins, they cannot be saved. You need to pray with great faith every day. There is nobody who loves you as I do, and I am always there to help you. I bless you all.”
