Simon the Magician

Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (8:9-17):

A man named Simon used to practice magic in the city and astounded the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great. All of them, from the least to the greatest, paid attention to him, saying, “This man is the ‘Power of God’ that is called ‘Great.’” They paid attention to him because he had astounded them by his magic for a long time, but once they began to believe Philip as he preached the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, men and women alike were baptized. Even Simon himself believed and, after being baptized, became devoted to Philip; and when he saw the signs and mighty deeds that were occurring, he was astounded.
Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who went down and prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for it had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.

Our Blessed Mother wants you all to pray for Her great intention for Prince Edward Island. Pray to Jesus that He grants this great gift in the near future. He will bless all those who pray for this intention every day.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Receive My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are united to Me the Holy Spirit just like the people of Samaria who received the gift of the Holy Spirits from the hands of St. Peter and St. John. All those who are instructed and believe in Me have to be baptized, and after baptism they are to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Blessed Trinity. The Father and I sent the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles ten days after My Ascension into heaven. The Holy Spirit came upon them to give them great power and to take away all fear. He enlightened them and filled them with the love of God. They received great graces to oppose the evil one and to avoid all sin. If you follow the commandments, then the Holy Spirit will abide in you at all times and you will be blessed. Prepare my dear friends for the great feast of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit will come upon you again and unite you more firmly to Me your Lord and Savior. I love you all.”
