Jesus Hanging on the Cross

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. John’s Gospel (19:23-30):

When the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took his clothes and divided them into four shares, a share for each soldier. They also took his tunic, but the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from the top down. So they said to one another, “Let’s not tear it, but cast lots for it to see whose it will be,” in order that the passage of scripture might be fulfilled that says: “They divided my garments among them, and for my vesture they cast lots.” This is what the soldiers did.
Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
After this, aware that everything was now finished, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I thirst.” There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit.

I thank the Lord for the great Pope we have. Pope Francis is blessed by Our Lord and he is working very well. Already many lapsed Catholics have decided to come back to the church because they love the new pope. Let us continue to pray for the Pope that his health will remain good and that he will touch the hearts of many people in the Church.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I love you My dear son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who are consecrated to Me. I am your Mother and My duty is to bring you all to My Son Jesus. The Apostle, St. John, stood for each one of you at the foot of the cross of My Son Jesus. My Son spoke to Me before He died, telling Me that you are all My children, and He tells you all that I am your Mother. By giving birth to My Son, I gave Him to all of you as your Savior. Unite your life with His and open your heart to all that He wants to give you. The graces He won on the cross, He gives them to you through Me, His Mother. It is My joy to dispense these wonderful gifts to all of you so that your faith may be strong, that you can avoid all sin and love all your brothers and sisters. Be active members of His Church and be men and women of prayer. I want you all with Me and My Son Jesus in heaven one day. I bless you all.”
