Stephen’s Discourse
Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (7:1-8):
Then the high priest asked, “Is this so?” And [Stephen] replied,
“My brothers and fathers, listen. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was in Mesopotamia, before he had settled in Haran, and said to him, ‘Go forth from your land and from your kinsfolk to the land that I will show you.’ So he went forth from the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. And from there, after his father died, he made him migrate to this land where you now dwell. Yet he gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot’s length, but he did promise to give it to him and his descendants as a possession, even though he was childless. And God spoke thus, ‘His descendants shall be aliens in a land not their own, where they shall be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years; but I will bring judgment on the nation they serve,’ God said, ‘and after that they will come out and worship me in this place.’ Then he gave him the covenant of circumcision, and so he became the father of Isaac, and circumcised him on the eighth day, as Isaac did Jacob, and Jacob the twelve patriarchs.”

We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and the weather was milder. Much snow melted so now there is no snow in front of the house and chapel. I thank the Lord for these lovely days.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Accept all the great saints of the past, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who belong to My Kingdom. One of these great saints was Saint Stephen who lived in Jerusalem and worked with the Apostles as a deacon. He was not afraid to stand up in the Sanhedrin and to give a discourse to all those present about how the Jewish nation was born, starting with Abraham. All the people listened to him, although at the end they killed him.
“Stephen was a man with great faith who loved Me with all his heart. He was a great example to all the Christian people because he followed all the commandments and was a great man of prayer. I call you all to imitate him in following Me. Fight the good fight and challenge everyone who speaks falsely. Be for life and never accept the horror of abortion. Every conceived child has a right to life and to be born. Let your voice be heard and never vote for any politician who is for abortion. Work together with Me so that this horrible sin will end in every country of the world. I bless you all.”
