The First Letter of St. Peter
Dear Friends,
A reading from the First Letter of St. Peter (1:1-9):
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the chosen sojourners of the dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, in the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification by the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling with the blood of Jesus Christ: may grace and peace be yours in abundance.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you who by the power of God are safeguarded through faith, to a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the final time. In this you rejoice, although now for a little while you may have to suffer through various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Although you have not seen him you love him; even though you do not see him now yet believe in him, you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, as you attain the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

We had a lovely day yesterday and it was a few degrees above the freezing point.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world. Before I died on the cross, I chose St. Peter to be the head of My Church. He was the first of the 12 Apostles. I gave him all the graces he needed to govern My Church and at the end he died a martyr. He was crucified in Rome upside down on the cross. He is a great saint in heaven. He wrote a beautiful letter about Me and especially about His faith in Me. He calls you all to believe in Me, your Savior, who died on the cross and he wants you all to have a living hope through My resurrection from the dead. The goal of your faith is nothing else but your salvation so that you will be united with Me forever in heaven. The true faith is taught by My Church built on Peter. Do not accept any teachings that are not accepted by My Church. Today there are many false teachings in the world. Come follow Me and the Church I founded on St. Peter. I love you all.”
