Prayer in Times of Distress
Dear Friends,
A reading from Psalm 86:
Incline your ear, O Lord; answer me, for I am afflicted and poor. Keep my life, for I am devoted to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God; have pity on me, O Lord, for to you I call all the day. Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Lord I lift up my soul; for you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in kindness to all who call upon you. Hearken, O Lord, to my prayer and attend to the sound of my pleading. In the day of my distress I call upon you, for you will answer me.
There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, and there are no works like yours. All the nations you have made shall come and worship you, O Lord, and glorify your name. For you are great, and you do wondrous deeds; you alone are God.
Teach me, O Lord, your way that I may walk in your truth; direct my heart that it may fear your name. I will give thanks to you, O Lord My God, with all my heart, and I will glorify your name forever. Great has been your kindness toward me; you have rescued me from the depths of the nether world. O God, the haughty have risen up against me, and the company of fierce men seeks my life, nor do they set you before their eyes. But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in kindness and fidelity. Turn toward me, and have pity on me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your handmaid. Grant me a proof of your favor, that my enemies may see, to their confusion, that you, O Lord, have helped and comforted me.

We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and the temperature reached 28 degrees Celsius.
(Below you will find the message of Our Heavenly Father given to Father Melvin. God the Father spoke to him these words.)
“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters living in the world. As Psalm 86 tells you, there are many of you who are suffering. When I created the earth, I wanted all of you to live in peace and joy without any sickness or suffering, but it is sin that changed everything. When sin entered the world, then death entered at the same time and with death all kinds of sicknesses and pain. You know that I placed the first man and the first woman in paradise where they did not have to labor to find something to eat and they were always in good health. It was the sin they committed against Me that changed everything. After that sin I promised you a Savior who would restore you to My favor by His suffering and death on the cross to atone for your sins. My Son Jesus is the one who came and did everything I asked Him to do. Now I call you all to believe in Him, Your Savior and Redeemer, and to follow His teachings and you will be blessed in the world and when your time comes I will accept you in heaven. Read the psalm 86 often for it is a great prayer directed to Me and if you do so I will answer your prayer with great love. I love you all My children.”
