The Resurrection Event
Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians 15, 50 – 58.
This I declare, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed, in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For that which is corruptible must clothe itself with incorruptibility, and that which is mortal must clothe itself with immortality, then the word that is written shall come about:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.
Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be firm, steadfast, always fully devoted to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
Today, July 1st, is Canada Day. I wish all the Canadians a wonderful day and may the Lord bless this country and all its inhabitants. I pray for peace in Canada and that all may turn to Our Lord Jesus and follow Him.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Redeemer given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I shower My love upon you, My brother Melvin, and on all My brothers and sisters living in every part of the world. I am your resurrected Savior who died on the cross for you and was buried but after three days I came back to life never to die again. You too, My brothers and sisters, will rise from the dead and enter heaven if you take to heart My words and do what I have asked you to do. You know that you have all sinned and the sting of sin is death. However, if you have followed Me while on earth, I will come and get you the day you will leave the earth and bring you with Me to heaven. You will receive the place I have prepared for you. I love you all and My great desire is to have you all with Me one day. Come follow Me every day. I bless you all.”
