Temptation to Sin

Dear Friends,

Jesus said to his disciples, “Things that cause sin will inevitably occur, but woe to the person through whom they occur. It would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he wrongs you seven times in one day and returns to you seven times saying, ‘I am sorry,’ you should forgive him.” And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 17:1-6)

Yesterday morning I concelebrated at Holy Mass with the Parish Priest of the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road. He read a letter from our Bishop teaching us about the importance of the five times of silence during Holy Mass. These times of silence are a time to offer our petition to the Lord and to praise Him for all that He has done for us.

On Tuesday evening, November 8, I will be at St. Paul’s Church in Summerside for a Healing Mass. The Mass will begin at 7:00 p.m. and I will have a healing service afterwards. All are welcome.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters scattered all over the world. I call you all to have faith in Me, your Brother and your Savior. The most horrible thing that is going on in the world is of course sin. Sin is what separates you from Me. How can I live in your heart if you are in the state of grievous sin. You have to change your style of life if you wish to be saved. You need to believe in Me, your Savior, and to ask for the graces you need to avoid sin in the future. You also have to confess your sins to a priest so that you will be absolved from the sins you committed. How important it is to have a deep relationship with me by contemplating every day and by offering yourself completely to Me and asking for the graces you need. I will help you.”
