The Announcement of the Birth of Jesus

Dear Friends,

In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. And coming to her, the angel said, “Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you.” But she was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” But Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I have no relations with a man?” And the angel said to her in reply, “The holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. And behold, Elizabeth, your relative, has also conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren; for nothing will be impossible for God.” Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her. (Passage from the Gospel of St. Luke 1:26-38)

Many people are sending me the names of their loved ones to be placed in the Book of Remembrance. You can inscribe them in the book for $15.00 each and I celebrate Holy Masses for them twice a week for a full year. I have received many e-mails and phone calls telling me about the great change of those they have inscribed in the Book of Remembrance. Send the names of your relatives and friends who are sick or do not pray or go to church. They will be touched or healed by all these Masses.

Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,

“I bless you, My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters living all over the world. I am the Mother of Jesus, your Lord and Savior, who came into the world to save you all. He had been promised by the Father soon after the sin of Adam and Eve but it took thousands of years before the time came for him to be born. It was the angel Gabriel who came to visit Me one day and announced that I would be the Mother of Jesus, the Son of God. The Holy Spirit came upon Me and the power of the Father overshadowed Me and so I conceived a child who would be holy and he would sit on the throne of King David forever.

As I was chosen as the Mother of Jesus, the Son of God, I sang My canticle at My visit to My cousin Elizabeth. It was when I stood at the foot of the cross of My Son, that He made Me the Mother of you all. I am happy to be your Mother and to do all I can to help you reach heaven one day. I pray for you continuously asking My Son, Jesus, to give you all the graces and strength you need to follow Him until death. I love you, My children.”
