The Bread of Life Discourse

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 6, 27 – 33:

The next day, the crowd that remained across the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not gone along with his disciples in the boat, but only the disciples had left. Other boats came from Tiberias near the place where they had eaten the bread when the Lord gave thanks. When the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus. And when they found him across the sea they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” Jesus answered them and said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, you are looking for me not because you saw signs but because you ate and were filled. Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him the Father, God, has set his seal.” So they said to him, “What can we do to accomplish the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in the one he sent.” So they said to him, “What sign can you do, that we may see and believe in you? What can you do? Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’
So Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, It wasnot Moses who gave them bread from heaven, My Father gave you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world”

I could not write a message yesterday because I went to New Brunswick way north to Merimichi. It took me four hours to get there and four hours to come back. When I arrived I was very tired and I went to bed. Pray my brothers and sisters that I will soon get the date when Our Lady’s money will arrive. I hope to get the date next week. This money as you know is to build the shrine to Our Lady and the two monasteries. It is time now to begin.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe that I have all power and when I was on earth I performed many miracles. One of the miracles I performed was the multiplication of the bread and fish on the mountain. There were many Jews there and they saw the miracle I performed. After this, they were following Me every day hoping they would get more food to eat. However, I told them not to work for food that perishes but for food that endures for eternal life. What is this food that endures for eternal life? This is the new manna which I provided My Church. It is called the Eucharist, which is My body and blood. All should work hard to prepare themselves to receive this eternal food as often as possible. I am the One who gave you this special eternal food.
I call you all, My brothers and sisters, to work for your spirit life that you will get your reward at the end of your earthly life and be welcome in heavenly happiness forever.”
