Multiplication of the Loaves

A reading from the Gospel of Saint John 6, 1 – 15:

After this, Jesus went across the Sea of Galilee (of Tiberias). A large crowd followed him, because they saw the signs he was performing on the sick. Jesus went up on the mountain, and there he sat down with his disciples. The Jewish feast of Passover was near. When Jesus raised his eyes and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, he said to Philip, “Where can we buy enough for them to eat?” He said this to test him, because he himself knew what he was going to do. Philip answered him, “Two hundred days’ wages worth of food would not be enough for each of them to have a little bit.” One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, said to him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish: but what good are these for so many?” Jesus said, “Have the people recline.” Now there was a great deal of grass in that place. So the men reclined, about five thousand in number. Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed them to those who were reclining, and also as much of the fish as they wanted. When they had had their fill, he said to his disciples, “Gather the fragments left over, so that nothing will be wasted.” So they collected them, and filled twelve wicker baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves that had been more than they could eat. When the people saw the sign he had done, they said, “This is truly the Prophet, the one who is to come into the world.” Since Jesus knew that they were going to come and carry him off to make him king, he withdrew again to the mountain alone.

I will have to bring the money I collected to New Brunswick on Saturday. However, I am still short of $300 and I am praying that I will receive this money before I leave for Moncton. I thank all those who sent me money. Now with this money it should be all I will have to pay and once I give them the money, I should receive a date to go and get the money to start Our Lady’s shrine and to build the two monasteries, one for men and the other for women. Please pray that everything will go well.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:
“I call you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to believe that I have the power to perform miracles. You remember when the Jewish people left Egypt on their way to the Promised Land, My heavenly Father fed them with manna in the desert for forty years. This was a great miracle that He did for His people. I did the same thing when I was in Galilee. As the story goes, about five thousand men followed Me in the desert and there I wanted to feed them. The only food that was found was five loaves of bread and two fish. With these I fed all the people who were there. At the end I told My Apostles to gather the fragments and they went and filled twelve baskets with the fragments. So that day I multiplied the loaves and fish for the people to have their fill. When the people saw what I had done, they believe in Me as the one who had been announced a long time ago.
For you My dear followers, I did this to teach you about the Holy Eucharist. So if I can multiply loaves and fish, so I can change the bread and wine into My body and blood. So when you come to receive Holy Communion, you come to receive Me alive in the host. I am present in the host as the resurrected One who now lives at the right hand of My Father in heaven.
I bless you all.

Father Melvin
