The Commissioning of the Disciples

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 28, 16 – 20:

The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them. When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted. Then Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

I am in great trouble at this moment. I have no heating oil to heat my house and I have no money to buy some. The tank went empty last night and so today I had to dress up with a winter coat to stay in the house. I hope I will be able to sleep tonight. I went to the company if they would give me some heating oil today and I would pay them as soon as I can find the $400.00. They said an absolute no. They completely refuse to help me. So there I am in my trouble. Please pray for me.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“You have all been commissioned My dear brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters to follow Me. You were all born to fulfill a vocation given to you by My Father. That is the reason you came on earth, so make sure you do what your Heavenly Father has asked of you.
After My resurrection, I went to meet the eleven Apostles on the mountain in Galilee and I gave them their vocation. Yes, I sent the Apostles to go out to all the nations of the world and to call the people to become My disciples and to baptize them in the name of the three Persons of the Blessed Trinity. They are all called to observe My teachings, which I gave the Apostles. At the end I told them that I will be with them always, until the end of the world.
So My dear friends, you are all called too to become My disciples and to believe in Me as your Savior. All have to be baptized in order to receive the great grace of being a Christian and to take away all your sins including original sin. You all have a vocation. Some are called to be priests, religious sisters, married men or women, singles and to do special work for the Kingdom of God. Remember all those who are baptized become members of the Kingdom of God and I want all the people of the world to become members of My Kingdom. Work hard and pray daily that many will enter every year. I bless you all and I give you special graces every day.”
