The Second Prediction of the Passion

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 9, 43 – 48:

While they were all amazed at Jesus’ every deed, he said to his disciples, “Pay attention to what I am telling you. The Son of Man is to be handed over to men.” But they did not understand this saying; its meaning was hidden from them so that they should not understand it; and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.
An argument arose among the disciples, about which of them was the greatest. Jesus realized the intention of their hearts and took a child and placed it by his side and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.”

I wish to thank all those who sent me money to help my friend. Now I have enough money so he can buy his medication. I also thank those who gave me money to pay my lawyer and the money to travel there to hand him the money. However, I still need $400 to buy healing oil to heat my house. I have enough heating oil for about ten days. We are having a very cold spell at this time so the healing oil is going down fast. May the Lord bless you all.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I foretold My Passion more than once to My Apostles and I also want to tell you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who know how I have suffered at the hands of the Jewish leaders and how I was killed by the Romans by nailing Me to the cross. I had to tell My Apostles more than once because they had great difficulty believing that I would be punished and crucified. However, My Passion and Death was the most important part of My life on earth. I was sent to earth by My Heavenly Father to offer Myself in sacrifice on the cross to atone for all your sins and in this way to bring about your salvation. I was the only one who could save you. There were no pure human being who could do this. Your Redeemer had to be both human and divine. Why could a human being not do what I did? No human being could do this because every sin offends Your Heavenly Father who is God. Therefore, only one who is divine can be your Redeemer. So as I am both divine and human I could offer a perfect sacrifice to atone for all your sins.
Come now all who believe in Me and follow Me. I am the only one who can bring you to heaven. So be an active member of My Kingdom and one day you will be with Me in heaven for all eternity. I bless you all.”

P.S. We had a sunny day but it was cold. We should have some snow tomorrow.
