The Healing of a Boy with a Demon
A reading from the Gospel of Saint Luke 9, 37 – 43:
On the next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met Jesus. There was a man in the crowd who cried out, “Teacher, I beg you,look at my son; he is my only child. For a spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams and it convulses him until he foams at the mouth; it releases him only with difficulty, wearing him out. I begged your disciples to cast it out but they could not.” Jesus said in reply, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long will I be with you and endure you? Bring your son here.” As he was coming forward, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion; but Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and returned him to his father. And all were astonished by the majesty of God.
We had another snowstorm last night and over a foot (over 20 cm) of snow fell. The snowbank at my back door increased another foot and all the roads and my driveway were close the whole day. The snowplow passed only late in the afternoon and opened the Palmer Road but my driveway is not opened yet. It might only be opened tomorrow. We did not have any mail for the last two days. I hope these snowstorms will stop now for at least a few weeks.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Be aware of Satan and the evil spirits My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who are My followers. Do not open yourselves to the evil ones for they will surely come and possess you. The boy in the Bible story today shows that one can be taken at any age. The father of the boy came to Me to ask Me to chase away the unclean spirit that possessed his son. He had gone to My Apostles but they could not chase him away and this was because they did not have enough faith. However, I simply rebuked the evil spirit an heal the boy.
There are many people today who are possessed by evil spirits. Because of all the satanic cults in your countries, many people go to these cult and are invaded by these spirits. They suffer very much at the hands of evil spirits and they cannot do anything to chase those spirits away. When My brother Melvin was in Africa he chased away hundreds and hundreds of evil spirits. In one day he chased away evil spirits from over 100 people. It took time but at the end they were all free from these horrible spirits. Even in Canada and the USA he chased away many evil spirits from the people. Just in Canada he chased away these spirits from more than fifty people. Many of them had attended New Age groups or some people had done reiki on them. I tell you My friends, do not attend any New Age gathering and never let anyone do reiki on you. I wish also to tell you that possessed people should be taken to priests, they have the power to chase the evil spirits away. It is dangerous for lay people to try to do that because the evil spirits can jump on them.
If you remain with Me and follow what I have taught you and pray and go to Mass regularly then the evil one will not be able to possess you. I am the one who has power over the evil one and his spirits, so if you remain close to Me, he will never touch you. Watch out for his temptations. He can come and tempt you to do evil. When you know what comes in your heart is sinful, know that it is from the evil one and so say a prayer immediately to chase him away. I will be there to help you. I bless you all.”
