Consideration for the Weak Conscience
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans 14, 13 – 23:
Then let us no longer judge one another, but rather resolve never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean for someone who thinks it unclean. If you brother is being hurt by what you eat, your conduct is no longer in accord with love. Do not because of your food destroy him for whom Christ died. So do not let your good be reviled. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of food and drink, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit; whoever serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by others. Let us then pursue what leads to peace and to building up one another. For the sake of food, do not destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to become a stumbling block by eating; it is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble. Keep the faith that you have to yourself in the presence of God; blessed is the one who does not condemn himself for what he approves. But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because this is not from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.
It is terrible what the West in doing in Africa. I read that the doctors and the bishops of Kenya have told their people not to take the vaccine that the groups attached to the United Nations are now spreading all over Africa. These people have put something in this vaccine that causes sterility. They gave it especially to women and girls. This is a horrible thing that they are doing. No one has the right to sterilize women either in Africa or elsewhere in the world. This means that these women will not be able to have any children and it is their right to have children. Let us pray that they take away all those vaccines and throw them away.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Love all the people My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live in every country of the world. Saint Paul in the passage written in this message teaches you to have consideration for those who have weak consciences. For example if you eat with a Jewish person and you eat pork. You know that this Jew will be scandalized and would like to leave the table because for them pork is unclean food. There are some Jews who are Christians and they will still not eat pork because of their background. So if you should know that there is a person at table whose conscience forbids him to eat such and such food, then you should respect him and so you should not eat that food in front of him. You know that there is no unclean food for I told the Apostles that they could eat everything even pork. However, you should know that there are some with weak conscience and they could not eat that food because of their Jewish background. You are to respect all people and show love to them for this is what I would do Myself. When you are with people who accept to eat any kind of food, then you can eat whatever you like and there will be no trouble.
You know that I have given you only one commandment and this is it: Love one another as I love you. Be ready to forgive anyone who has hurt you and pray for all the people. I love you and I bless you all.”
