Apollos
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles 18, 24 – 28:
A Jew name Apollos, a native of Alexandria, an eloquent speaker, arrived in Ephesus. He was an authority on the scriptures. He had been instructed in the Way of the Lord and with ardent spirit, spoke and taught accurately about Jesus, although he knew only the baptism of John. He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the Way of God more accurately. And when he wanted to cross to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. After his arrival he gave great assistance to those who had come to believe through grace. He vigorously refuted the Jews in public, establishing from the scriptures that the Messiah is Jesus.
A man from the Province of Quebec came here last year and he was suffering from cancer in his back. I prayed over him and asked the Lord to heal him. He went to see the doctor when he got home and he was sent for tests but they did not find anything. He went for more test this year and all they could see was a few marks were the cancer was but there was nothing there now. Thank you Lord for healing this man.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words:
“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe with all your hearts that I am indeed the Messiah, the Savior of the world. Apollos was one man who had great faith in Me. He had accepted that I was the Messiah sent to save the people of the world. He only knew the baptism of St. John the Baptist but some Christian leaders in Ephesus taught him the Way of Jesus more accurately. He traveled to the various cities and taught the disciples and strengthen them in the faith. Apollos was a very good speaker. He was not afraid to refute the Jews who spoke nonsense about Me and he showed them from scriptures that indeed I was the Messiah.
I would like to have more great preachers like Apollos who could accurately teach the people all what I taught the Apostles. I bless you all.”

P.S. Today Thursday we had rain in the morning but the sun came out in the afternoon and we had more rain in the evening. May the Lord bless you all.
