The Walking on the Water
A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 14, 27 – 33:
Then Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and precede him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds. After doing so, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When it was evening he was there alone. Meanwhile the boat, already a few miles offshore, was being tossed about by the waves, for the wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came toward them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. It is a ghost, they said, and they cried out of fear. At once Jesus spoke to them, “Take courage, it is I, do not be afraid.” Peter said to him in reply, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” Peter got out of the boat and began to walk on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw how strong the wind was he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” After they got into the boat, the wind died down. Those who were in the boat did him homage, saying, “Truly, you are the Son of God.”
I finished addressing all the letters for the people who paid to have the Newsletter. I will send out the letters of the Newsletter of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island tomorrow. You will receive the newsletter sometime this week.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words, “I call you all My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who live on earth to believe that I am the Son of God. From eternity I lived in heaven with the Father and the Holy Spirit. We are the members of the Blessed Trinity. To teach the Apostles that I am divine, I asked them to get into a boat one day and to cross the lake. In the middle of the night I came towards them walking on the water. They had never seen a person walking on the water and they were afraid thinking they were seeing a ghost. With My divine power, I could walk on the water without any difficulty. When Peter heard that I was Jesus, he asked Me to call him to walk on the water. I did and he did step out of the boat and started walking on the water, but because of the wind, he became afraid and began to sink. I took him by the arm and brought him back to the boat. It was because of his lack of faith that he began to sink. By doing this miracle of walking on the water, the Apostles came to believe that I was indeed the Son of God. All you who believe in Me are to believe that truly I am the Divine Son of God with all power. I came to redeem you and one day to bring you to heaven. Come follow Me, your God, and you will be saved. I bless you all.”
