Teaching about Anger
A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 5, 21 – 26:
“You have heard that it was said to your ancestors: ‘You shall not kill and whoever kills will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brothers will be liable to judgment, and whoever says to his brother, Raqa,’ (imbecile) will be answerable to the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ will be liable to fiery Gehenna. Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him. Otherwise, your opponent will hand you over to the guard, and you will be thrown into prison. Amen, I say to you, you will not be released until you have paid the last penny.”
After a beautiful sunny day today Friday, we are supposed to have rain during the night and it will be sunny again tomorrow. I thank the Lord for the nice weather that we had during the last days and it seems we will have a beautiful week next week.
Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who believe and follow the commandments of God. Today I will refer to this commandment: ‘Thou shall not kill.’ You know that it is a very serious sin to kill a person but what leads one to kill. Often it starts with anger and this anger just blows over and you can have the desire to kill the one you hate. Remember however, that anger can be sinful. There is such a thing as just anger especially if you see someone insulting God and in your just anger you tell that person to stop saying these words. In doing this, you have done very well and you will be blessed.
However, there are some who get angry because someone has said something against them or has done something bad to them. I caution you to be very careful with this anger. What My Son teaches is that you should pardon all those who hurt you in any way. Do not get angry and do not say all kinds of horrible things against that person. If you pardon that person for what he said or did against you, then you will be blessed by My Son Jesus. Remain close to Him and follow the example He has shown you. Be men and women of prayer so that you will receive the graces you need and you will grow in faith every day. I love you all and I am praying for you.”
