Ministering to a Great Multitude

A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 4, 23 -25:

Jesus went around all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness among the people. His fame spread to all of Syria, and they brought to him all who were sick with various diseases and racked with pain, those who were possessed, lunatics, and paralytics, and he cured them. And great crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan followed him.

I got some very good news yesterday. One person phoned me about her son. Her son never went to church for a very long time although he was baptized and made his first Holy Communion and received confirmation. The parents put his name in my Book of Remembrance when they were here. Now over a month ago he began to go to Church and now he goes to church every Sunday. The parents who have great faith are very happy indeed and they cannot thank the Lord enough for what He did for him.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,

“I call on all of you especially My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have been baptized to believe in Me and to accept Me as your Savior. At the beginning of My ministry in Galilee, I traveled to all the villages and towns of the area and on Saturdays I was in a different synagogue to teach the people, to proclaim the Kingdom of God and I cured many, many people. Every sick person who came to Me I healed with My divine power. I also chased evil spirits from those who were possessed and they became normal and they followed Me. They brought paralytics to Me and I healed them too. Every where I was the people would bring the sick, the possessed, etc. and they would ask me to heal them or chase away the evil spirits. Without hesitation I did all that they asked Me. Of course people spread all of this throughout the whole country and in the neighboring countries. Every where I went there was always a big crowd of people.
I call you all who read this to take your Bible and read from it. Read especially the Gospels to start with. In this way you will be able to accept Me as your Lord and Savior and have great faith in Me. I also want you to follow My teachings every day and to pray daily. I bless you all and I love you.”

Father Melvin

P.S. May the Lord bless you all and may He give you all many gifts.
