The Return from Egypt
A reading from the Gospel of Saint Matthew 2, 19 – 23:
When Herod had died, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the child’s life are dead.” He rose, took the child and his mother, and went to the land of Israel. But when he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go back there. And because he had been warned in a dream, he departed for the region of Galilee. He went and dwelt in a town called Nazareth, so that what had been spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled. “He shall be called a Nazorean.”
This morning Friday when I woke up, I found that a little bit of snow had fallen and at that time it was raining. We did not have any snow the whole day Friday only some rain in the late afternoon. Imagine the sun came out for awhile in the afternoon. The worst part of the storm is over and now it is very mild: 6 degrees Celsius. I hope we will have a nice day on Saturday.
Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who accept Me as your Mother. Although Jesus was born in Bethlehem, we had to flee to Egypt because King Herod wanted to kill My child. So an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream and told him to take us with him to Egypt. We went to that foreign country and we lived there for some years. We had to wait there until King Herod died. So when he died, the angel came back to Joseph to tell him that we could return. So we came back to Jerusalem but because the king’s son was now the new king, we decided to go to the town we had lived previously. So we departed from Jerusalem and went to Nazareth in the region of Galilee. We found our old home and moved in once more. It is there in Nazareth that Joseph died and where Jesus became a full grown man. He worked hard as a carpenter having been trained by Joseph His fosterfather. We went to the Synagogue every Saturday and we prayed at home every day. Jesus had a very special relationship with God the Father and He would spend time with His Father every day.
I call on you all, My dear sons and daughters, to be Christians of prayer and those who are married must teach their children to pray. They should join their parents and pray regularly. I call you all to pray the rosary every day. If you pray every day, you will be blessed, and My Son Jesus will protect you and gave you all the graces and gifts that you need. The children too will grow with great faith and love for their Savior and Me their Mother. I bless you all.”
