Solemn Charge
Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Second Letter to Timothy (2 Tim 4:1-8):
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingly power: proclaim the word; be persistent whether it is convenient or inconvenient; convince, reprimand, encourage through all patience and teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths. But you, be self-possessed in all circumstances; put up with hardship; perform the work of an evangelist; fulfill your ministry.
For I am already being poured out like a libation, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have competed well; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. From now on the crown of righteousness awaits me, which the Lord, the just judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me, but to all who have longed for his appearance.

I have been sick with a cold for the last three days, but today I feel better. I thank the Lord for healing me. I am praying for all of you that the Lord will help you in all your troubles. He loves us and He is always ready to help us if we ask Him.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I call you all to proclaim the Gospel, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have heard My solemn charge. When I was on earth I was the one who went around all the towns and villages in Israel to proclaim the Good News. I taught the Apostles for three years and many more heard My teachings. All the Apostles followed Me except one, Judas. They became the leaders of My Church with Saint Peter as the head. They worked very well and they visited many countries, and all of them were martyrs except St. John. Many people came to accept My teaching and became part of My Church. Even today many are becoming Catholic every year. Africa is the continent with the highest number of conversions every year. In 2011 there were over 8,500,000 converts in Africa alone. Pray that the rest of the people on earth may come to join My Church and be blessed by Me.
“Saint Paul was another great Apostle who traveled through many countries teaching the people and bringing them into My Church. Be a lively member of My Church and be a person of prayer who does only what is good. I love you and I give you the graces you need.”
