Live in Concord

Dear Friends,
A reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Philippians (4:1-9):

Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, in this way stand firm in the Lord, beloved. I urge Euodia and I urge Syntyche to come to a mutual understanding in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you also, my true yokemate, to help them, for they have struggled at my side in promoting the gospel, along with Clement and my other co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you.

It rained yesterday in the early morning, but the sun came out around noon and it was very beautiful for the rest of the day. We should have beautiful sunny days for the rest of the week.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord and Savior given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“Stand firm in the Lord, your God, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have accepted Me as your Savior. You must love one another as I love you and you will be united with Me. Pray for those who struggle in life because of lack of work or lack of agreement with their relatives and friends. Pray especially for couples that they may understand one another and love one another. I want every one of you to be filled with joy and peace. When you have these gifts, you know that I am near you and I am the one who is giving you these wonderful gifts.
“If you have any request, come and make these requests to Me with all your heart and I will answer them. Keep on doing what I have taught you and My peace will reign in you every day. I love and bless you.”

          Father Melvin
