The Canticle of Mary

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (1:46-56):

                    Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
                    my spirit rejoices in God my savior.
                    For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness;
                    behold, for now on will all ages call me blessed.
                    The Mighty One has done great things for me,
                    and holy is his name.

His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him.

He has shown might with his arms,

dispensed the arrogant of mind and heart.

He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones

but lifted up the lowly.

The hungry he has filled with good things;

the rich he has sent away empty.

He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy,

according to his promise to our fathers,
                    to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”

          It was cloudy all day yesterday and we had some rain. It is supposed to be sunny today.

          Below you will find the message of Our Blessed Mother given to Father Melvin. She spoke to him these words,
“I bless you, My son Melvin and all My sons and daughters who love to recite My canticle which I sang when I came to visit My cousin Elizabeth. At the time I was pregnant with Jesus, the Savior of the world. It was the Holy Spirit who inspired Me to sing this canticle. I proclaimed the greatness of God for He loves to help the humble people. The Church founded by My Son Jesus always calls Me blessed and that was what the Holy Spirit had inspired Me. Our Heavenly Father selected Me to be the Mother of Jesus and this was the greatest honor that any woman could receive. I thank Him every day for this great mercy He showed Me. The Father does not like the arrogant and the proud rulers, but He lifts up the poor and lowly. He gives food to those who are hungry but not to the rich. He helped the people of Israel because of Abraham and the other holy people. I am a descendant of Abraham and so I have been blessed by the Father.
“My dear children, follow what the Father and My Son Jesus have taught you and you too will be blessed. I am praying for all of you.”
