Paul Visits Asia Minor
Dear Friends,
A reading from the Acts of the Apostles (16:6-15):
[Paul and Timothy] traveled through the Phrygian and Galatian territory because they had been prevented by the Holy Spirit from preaching the message in the province of Asia. When they came to Mysia, they tried to go on into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them, so they crossed through Mysia and came down to Troas. During the night Paul had a vision. A Macedonian stood before him and implored him with these words, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” When he had seen the vision, we sought passage to Macedonia at once, concluding that God had called us to proclaim the good news to them.
We set sail from Troas, making a straight run for Samothrace, and on the next day to Neapolis, and from there to Philippi, a leading city in that district of Macedonia and a Roman colony. We spent some time in that city. On the sabbath we went outside the city gate along the river where we thought there would be a place of prayer. We sat and spoke with the women who had gathered there. One of them, a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth, from the city of Thyatira, a worshiper of God, listened, and the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what Paul was saying. After she and her household had been baptized, she offered us an invitation, “If you consider me a believer in the Lord, come and stay at my home,” and she prevailed on us.

I am happy that my friend, Philip, from Quebec is out of hospital. He suffered a stroke and fell unconscious and was brought to the hospital. I prayed for him and now he is getting better, but he will have to spend time to recuperate. Please pray for him.
Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God given to Father Melvin. He spoke to him these words,
“Keep your heart open to My words, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who have committed your lives to Me. Every person is born in the world with a special mission. In order to live in peace and joy, you need to follow the mission you have been given. Look at St. Paul when he was traveling from one city to another preaching the Good news. One day he had a vision calling him to Macedonia, a country that had never heard of Me. Did he agree to go there? Yes, of course. He traveled there and preached the Good News to these people and some became Christians. Paul was always ready to do whatever I told him. I call you all to be faithful to My words and to do all I ask of you. I want you as My friends who have a great love for Me. You know that I love you and that I died for each one of you. I did this to save you all, but you need to cooperate with Me. Let us walk together every day. I bless you all.”
Father Melvin
P.S. I wish you all a great Feast of the Ascension.
