On the Road to Emmaus

Dear Friends,
A reading from St. Luke’s Gospel (24:13-24):

Now that very day two of [the disciples] were going to a village seven miles from Jerusalem called Emmaus, and they were conversing about all the things that had occurred. And it happened that while they were conversing and debating, Jesus himself drew near and walked with them, but their eyes were prevented from recognizing him.
He asked them, “What are you discussing as you walk along?” They stopped, looking downcast. One of them, named Cleopas, said to him in reply, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know of the things that have taken place there in these days?” And he replied to them, “What sort of things?”
They said to him, “The things that happened to Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, how our chief priests and rulers both handed him over to a sentence of death and crucified him. But we were hoping that he would be the one to redeem Israel; and besides all this, it is now the third day since this took place. Some women from our group, however, have astounded us: they were at the tomb early in the morning and did not find his body; they came back and reported that they had indeed seen a vision of angels who announced that he was alive. Then some of those with us went to the tomb and found things just as the women had described, but him they did not see.”

The snowstorm started again yesterday around 10:00 a.m. and it snowed for the rest of the day. It is not snowing this morning. Please pray that I will receive the money that Our Blessed Mother has said I would receive.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. Jesus spoke to him these words,
“I bless you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in My resurrection from the dead. When I joined the two men on their way to Emmaus, they did not believe in My resurrection. They thought I was the Messiah who had come to redeem Israel but now they were going home thinking that it was all over.
“My dear friends, do not be like these two men who had no faith in Me. Come and believe with all your heart that I rose from the dead on the third day after My death on the cross. I came back to life to show the Apostles and My friends that indeed I am the Messiah, the Savior of the world. Because I am the Son of God, this is why I could come back to life because as God I cannot stay in the tomb. I am now in heaven sitting at the right hand of My Heavenly Father and I am the King of the Universe. I have all power so come follow Me and you will be saved. I love you.”
