The Answer to Prayer

Dear Friends,
A reading from
St. Luke’s Gospel (11:9-13):
[Jesus said:] “And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. What father among you would hand his son a snake when he asks for a fish? Or hand him a scorpion when he asks for an egg? If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the holy Spirit to those who ask him?”

A good number of people these days are using PayPal to send money for different things. Some want their people inscribed in the Book of Remembrance and they send the money via PayPal. Some asks for books and pay through PayPal while others send a donation in the same way. You will find PayPal in Our Lady’s website and the address is: ourladyofpei.com.
The Lord is at work helping many people and what greater prayer is there than Holy Mass. I wish to thank those who sent me money to buy especially heating oil and I will need more oil during the coming week.

Below you will find the message of Our Lord, the Son of God, given to Father Melvin. He spoke to him these words,
“I call you all to prayers especially you My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters who believe in Me your Savior. Prayer is as important for you as blood is important for your body. Without prayer by which you receive graces, you will not be able to do anything good. On your own you cannot follow the right path that leads to eternal life. So I call you to come to me every day in prayer and to ask Me for what you need. I am always ready to answer your prayer if you come with an open heart and fervent faith. I am always ready to help the poor, the sick, the depressed and those who are looking for a job. Come to Me and make a sincere prayer and I will help you; perhaps not immediately but in time. Remember I am your friend who loves you.”
